Tiempo de Fiesta

richardCinco de Mayo was first celebrated in the United States in Southern California in 1863. In the 1950’s Mexican-American youths hijacked the holiday as a way to build Mexican-American pride. In the 1980’s commercialization of the holiday started and continued to grow into the current celebration of Mexican food, culture, traditions, and of course cerveza that we experience today.
