Resolving to Give Back

””January has always been a time for making resolutions for the New Year. It’s a time to think about the changes one would make in their life and then resolve to follow through on those changes.

Most people would like to break undesirable habits that might harm or disappoint them and strive to live a more successful and fulfilling life. One way to achieve this goal is to make a non-selfish 2015 new year’s resolution; help others and give back to society.

Resolutions (Revisited)

Photo 57 (2)The New Year is a time when people look back and assess or “recap” their past experiences. We look at accomplishments and our lifestyle, but we also look at our past/current employment status.

In the past, I have lived through periods of end-of-year and New Year’s unemployment. During that stage of unemployment, I was filled with unnecessary anxiety and fear. Trying to achieve all of my goals simultaneously was overwhelming, and as a result I approached everything incorrectly! If I knew then what I know now, my New Year resolutions would have been much more strategic. Let me explain.
