National Disability Employment Awareness Month

This October marks the 70th Anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). The purpose of this initiative is to educate the public and employers about disability employment issues and to celebrate the contributions of workers with disabilities. This year’s theme ‘My disability is one part of who I am’ shares the important message that people with disabilities are just people who can bring another perspective to the table.

Moving Forward, Looking Back

Photo 57 (2)The Navigators are a three person regional team covering 13 counties and 24 Workforce Solutions Centers that were created to provide staff training, assist employers and serve as a resource for and about persons with disabilities whose goal is finding quality employment.
