David SpearsLabor Day is a time that we celebrate and honor people who labor in making this such a great nation. However, today many are under the undue hardship of labor in the form of disaster recovery from hurricane Harvey that has affected just about the entire Gulf Coast of Texas and Louisiana. Celebrating American Workers

JoAnn KawamotoLabor Day, a celebration of the American workers’ dedication, hard work and persistence, was declared a National holiday in 1894 by President Grover Cleveland. Today, typically marked by family picnics, it is seen by most as the unofficial end of summer, as school begins once more.
