Organized Chaos or Just a Process?

Kristin ColeI just got back from vacation and the airport in Miami seemed so chaotic! I have a personal story to illustrate this, so hang with me.

We were hustled off the plane, up the stairs, around the corner, and directed to an electronic device where we checked into Customs . We scanned our passports, answered a bunch of questions, had our picture taken and matched to our identification. Then we were shepherded through another door to meet the Border Customs officer and pick up our luggage, just to turn it right back in. We then waited through more security screening; we stood in line, took off our shoes, jackets, backpacks, watches and emptied our pockets.
