He was a son, husband and father. He was also a minister, humanitarian and a leader in the Black American Civil rights movement.
He, and other activists, dealt with dangerous situations, but Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had the power to move people to want more. He had the courage to speak up for equality and justice, and he had the audacity to dream big. Continue reading “I Have a Dream”
I grew up in a family that understood the importance of hard work. As a young person growing up in such a house, I learned certain lessons that carry on even today. One of those lessons was to never give up on my dreams.
Dreams often guide our journeys (in life) toward something that we excel in. If we follow our dreams, we may make a difference in the world one day.
