Do you strive for happiness in your career?

I know I catch myself wondering and observing people who are truly happy and love what they do. What did they do to get there? Life can be challenging at times, and as you know, we all must learn from our mistakes. If you are indecisive about your career, there are helpful tips to feel happiness in your everyday life. First, this starts with loving what we do. The majority of us spend more time at work than with our loved ones. On average, a full-time employee in the United States works about 1,801 hours per year. Here are tips you can do early on to obtain a career right for you.

With the rise and popularity of social media usage, employers have also joined in and have taken a new approach to use social media to screen job applicants. This approach gives employers the autonomy to find what prospective applicants are doing, thinking, and feeling based solely on their social media platforms.

Grocery Shopping

I admit that I do not enjoy grocery shopping. I know it’s a necessary chore to avoid the high cost of continually eating out but I’m honest with myself. I find accomplishing that chore easier by simply entering the store, getting what I need, and exiting as soon as possible to get back to doing what I enjoy. I call it grocery getting as opposed to grocery shopping.

Many of these students had professional careers in their home country, but what they are doing now in the States is a lot different.
