Get involved! The following is information about how you can get involved this holiday season.

The Houston Food Bank needs Spanish speakers for their Holiday Food Box event. Those interested in volunteering may call 713-223-3700 for additional information.

If you are short on time but want to get involved, you can join the Thanksgiving Day Volunteer Call Team with Interfaith Ministries. Volunteers will need to reserve about 90 minutes on Thanksgiving Day to call homebound seniors who may not have family or friends to visit them on Thanksgiving Day to wish them a Happy Thanksgiving. Those interested may email thanksgiving@imgh.org for more information.

The Christian Community Service Center needs volunteers for their Jingle Bells Express event. The duties available are organizing the toy store, helping clients register, and helping parents shop. Those interested in volunteering may contact Youth Service Manager at 713-961-3993 ext. 215 or seasonal@ccshouston.org for more information.

If you are fortunate enough not to need services and can’t make it to volunteer events, you can still pay it forward this holiday season by doing even just one act of kindness.
