What is BTW50+?

FriedaThrough a national community partnership launched by the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) in partnership with Houston Community College (HCC) and Workforce Solutions, the Back to Work 50+, coaching and training seminars premiered at the Northeast HCC Campus on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Our second two-week project ended Thursday, May 2nd and received extremely positive reviews by participants!

If you are 50+ and haven’t looked for work in a while you might be surprised at just how much has changed, and continues to change daily. When you’re ready to experience a clearer, more refreshing perspective to the look and feel of your search, join us for the next BTW50+ training session to update your knowledge and prepare you for a more successful job search!

Prior to attending the training seminars, you will be invited to attend an orientation, which will offer a detailed introduction to the entire program. This is well worth your time as an excellent opportunity to get detailed updates and answer any questions you may have. In case you were wondering, this program is FREE to all participants. Additionally, there is no charge for training materials or skills assessments.

Frieda Carmouche is a member of the Regional Facilitator team specializing in training, educating and assisting students, job seekers, employers and career center staff throughout the Gulf Coast region, regardless of abilities. She obtained her BFA in Graphic Communications and minored in Psychology from The University of Houston.
