Throughout every season there comes a time for rebranding and that time is now! If it has been a while since you have attended a Workforce Solutions Job Search Seminar; you are in for a refreshing change! Workforce Solutions “Job Search Seminars” are now neatly packaged within activity filled and informative modules ranging from Module 1 “A Targeted Plan” to Module 4 “Closing the Deal.” Check out the brief descriptions below to find modules that will get you on the road to rebranding your job search skills.
Module 1
A Targeted Plan
Do you know yourself, what you’re looking for, and what your specific preferences (or expectations) are for your next employment opportunity? Are you able to describe your knowledge, skills and abilities while in an actual interview? Are you familiar with the current labor market as it relates to your goals? If you are unsure of how to respond to any of these questions, I encourage you to attend Module 1 to learn how to plan and set your goals to meet employer expectations.
Module 2
Job Readiness Toolkit
Resumes and applications are very similar. However, they are also very different! In Module 2, you will learn the unique differences and how to present both in a more precise and detailed manner. Can you guess which interviewing question applicants dread the most? If you’re thinking, “Tell me about yourself?” you are correct! Are you ready to answer this question? Do you know exactly what employers need to hear? If not, this is the module for you!
Module 3
Sharpening Your Interviewing Skills
In this module, you will learn how to focus on the interview process while using the employer’s perspective to determine the proper clothing to wear and how to answer the most common interview questions, among other things. You will learn to be more specific when answering questions about your knowledge, skills and abilities as discovered during Module 1, A Targeted Plan.
Module 4
Closing The Deal
Did you know that networking is still the best way of finding employment? It absolutely is. So when looking at your own social media site(s), would your information leave an employer less than impressed? Make sure that your online presence projects a positive and professional attitude by using the informational tips you’ll learn at this seminar. And remember that proper follow-up is essential to closing the deal.
And finally, always remember that our training seminars are free! My advice? Get there early to get a great seat as you prepare to rebrand your job search skills!
