Calling All Young Adults

Your Future Starts Now!

Whether you are in school, have graduated or have left school, Workforce Solutions offers a wealth of opportunities to help young adults get their future started on the right foot.

Do any of these scenarios apply to you or someone you know?

  • I’m graduating from high school and can’t get a job because I don’t have any work experience
  • I’m 19, working on a GED and need a job but don’t know where to start
  • I’m a teen parent that is unsure how to support my child
  • I’m a young adult with a disability and am unsure where to look for opportunities

As a workforce professional, I know that we are currently operating in a tight employer’s market. As a mother of young adults, I know how much more frustrating it can be if any of the above scenarios apply to you. Thankfully, Workforce Solutions is once again proud to offer Summer Work Experience that can help overcome these barriers. If you are a young adult that would be interested in a six week internship with a local business, please review the eligibility criteria to see if this opportunity might be right for you.

There are also opportunities available throughout the Gulf Coast Region from various other organizations.

So, instead of sleeping, playing video games or complaining about being bored, why not make sure your summer is exciting? Find out if you qualify for one of these opportunities!
